General Information Welcome to PLTC’s information page. Here you can find out what the benefits of Pearson Longman Teacherr’s Club are and what type of PLTC user you could be. If after reading this information page you still have questions concerning Pearson Longman Teacher’s Club please mail us at: benelux.elt@pearson.com Bronze level A FREE teacher package (including student book, workbook and teacher’s book) for every teacher who works with the Pearson Longman books. This counts for the current Longman book in use and also all future Longman books that the school will use as a course book (as long as you stay a PLTC member at the Bronze level.) PLUS FREE sample copies of Longman publications in order to examine the books to see If they are suitable for use in the classroom. PLUS FREE consultaation visits from the Longman ELT -consultant on request in order to help you with your correct choice of books. Click here for contact details. Silver level All the benefits of the Bronze level. PLUS FREE set of classCDs for every group of 50 students who work with the Longman courses. This counts for the current Longman book in use and also all future Longman books that the school will use (as long as you stay a PLTC member at the Silver level.) Gold level All the benefits of the Silver level. PLUS as FREE mini library of Penguin Readers (50 copies) to provide extra reading support for the school. (This gift is provided once a year as long as you stay a PLTC member at the Gold level.) Platinum level All the benefits of the Bronze, Silver and Gold level. PLUS a free DVD player for the school. (This offer stands only for the books in use in 2006. Throughout your memebership we will also be offering special one-off incentives and offers in addition to these essential benefits) Schools/teachers need to inform us of both current books,in use and books planned for future use before June 30th 2006. You will therefore be able to receive your PLTC level for the school year 2006-2007. Pearson Longman Teacher's Club user type criteria:   Secondary Education Tertiary Education Bronze user School with at least 100 students using PL books Teacher with at least 100 students using PL books Silver user School with at least 250 students using PL books Teacher with at least 250 students using PL books Gold user School with at least 400 students using PL books Teacher with at least 400 students using PL books Platinum user School with at least 500 students (or whole school) using PL books Teacher with at least 500 students using PL books This is meant as a guide - we also have to consider other criteria (including for example, how often the school buys new materials) to confirm what type of user you are.
